This Data Protection Declaration gives you an overview of how Artquisite processes your data. Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank account details, credit card number) will only be processed by us in accordance with German data protection regulation. The following provisions will serve to inform you about the manner, scope and purpose of personal data collection, processing and use. This privacy policy only concerns our website. Obtained data

  • Your personal data, to the extent that it is necessary for verifying credentials, configuring content or negotiating the contractual relationship, will only be used to process the contract. For example, your name and address will be transmitted to the supplier for the delivery of your goods.
  • Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties not privy to the agreement without your express permission or legal reason. Following the complete conclusion of the contract, your data will be blocked for further use. Once the mandatory storage periods defined in tax and commercial legislation have passed, your data will be deleted unless you have given express permission for the continued use of your data.

2. What is personal data? 

When we talk about “your data”, we are referring to personal data. This includes all information which allows us to identify you straight away or by combining it with other information. Examples: Your name, your telephone number, your customer number, order numbers or your email address. All information which cannot be used to identify you (even by combining it with other data) is classified as non-personal data. Non-personal data is also referred to as anonymous data. If we delete the personal data from a piece of information or a record on your person, the remaining data in this record no longer counts as personal data. 3. Which data does Artquisite process?

Insofar as you conclude contracts with us, fill out registration fields or grant consent, we will process the personal data provided by you, in particular data as defined in Section 2.

  • Automatically collected data

In order to be able to display the information that suits you on the website, we also process the following data:

  • Date and time of your visit
  • The characteristics of your device, in particular the operating system, the browser used and the size of your browser window
  • The IP address of your device on the Internet

4. When does Artquisite process your data? 

4.1. Conclusion of contracts 

We process personal data of you, if you order products through our website or if you receive our newsletter.

Unless specified otherwise in the following provisions, the legal basis for the data processing connected with this is in each case Article 6 (1) (b) DSGVO.

4.2. Operation of the website

We use your data to provide access to the Artquisite website. Along with the device and access data collected whenever you use these services, the type of data processed as well as the processing purposes depend especially on how you use the functions and services provided via our services. We also use the data collected when you use our services to find out how our online offering is used. We use this information and other information in the course of shopping personalisation to improve our services and for personalised advertising.

5. Purposes of data processing 

5.1. Processing of orders in our online shop 

As far as you order products in our online shop, the processing of your personal data serves the conclusion and the execution of the contract as well as the processing of your order including payment and delivery. With a credit card payment we receive from our payment provider the so-called Payment-ID and the last four digits of your credit card number. This helps us to authenticate and assign your order and thus for your safety. The personal data required to effect payment is collected directly from the payment service provider.

Legal basis for the above data processing are Art. 6 paragraph 1 b) DSGVO or Art. 6 paragraph 1 f) DSGVO.

After selecting the payment service provider, you will be asked for the data required for the use of the respective payment service provider. This payment information will be forwarded directly to the respective payment service provider and will not be stored by us.

We only store the data you provided for the invoice and (if applicable, different) delivery address if you have chosen this option yourself so that you do not have to enter it again the next time you make your purchase. You can change this information at any time for the future.

If you do not agree with the payment method (s) offered to you, you can do so in writing by email We will then re-examine the decision taking into account your position.

We delete your personal data processed within the scope of orders at the latest after expiration of legal warranty periods, as far as not contrary to legal storage requirements.

5.2. Newsletter 

We offer all users of our community (users of the site a newsletter. To register, the user can register with his e-mail address on the login page. The user then receives an activation link to the specified e-mail address that the user must visit to complete the registration. 6. Tracking tools for website analysis 

6.1. General 

We want to make our websites as optimal as possible. Therefore, we use so-called "tracking" tools to technically improve our web offers. The tracking tools allow us to measure the use of our web sites. In particular, we use the tracking tools to gather the following information:

6.2. Google Analytics 

This website uses Google Analytics, a Google Inc. ("Google") web analysis service. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files stored on your computer that analyze your usage of the website. The data collected by the cookies about your usage of this website are generally transmitted and saved to a Google server in the USA. However, should you opt to activate IP anonymisation on this webpage, your IP address will be shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union and other signatory states of the Agreement of the European Economic Area. 6.3. Google Adwords / Remarketing

6.4. Google Adwords / Conversion  Tracking

6.5. Doubleclick by Google

We also use Doubleclick by Google. Doubleclick by Google is a service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Doubleclick by Google is designed to showcase advertisements relevant to you. These advertisements are displayed on our website and on the websites of other providers who also work with Google.

Our website stores in your browser for Google a so-called "cookie" with a pseudonymous identification number (ID). Google uses this cookie ID to recognize your browser when you visit our website (or other sites whose providers also use Doubleclick by Google). 6.7. Facebook Custom Audiences 

We use on our websites Facebook Website Custom Audiences. For this purpose, so-called Facebook pixels are integrated on our websites. This is Javascript code. 7. Use of external service providers
